Bullpen Group Announces Successful Infrastructure Transition for Major Oil & Gas Client

A large oil & gas company spun off a major subsidiary in order to optimize upstream and downstream business operations. The company was faced with transitioning 20,000 users to new infrastructure, systems, and applications while minimizing impact to daily operations. Bullpen Group was engaged to oversee the design, planning, deployment, and migration for many critical applications, systems, and tools. Bullpen's approach required careful planning, coordination, collaboration, attention to detail, and above all, leadership. As a result, the outcome was even more positive than the customer had hoped for, with every major deadline met successfully and users experiencing zero impact on the final night of the cutover.

New ERP System Delivered On Time and Under Budget

A global pipeline and utility transmission company needed to quickly and smoothly provide new tax compliance capabilities offered by a new ERP system (JD Edwards) to meet a critical tax deadline. Bullpen Group was challenged with managing the project while utilizing constrained resources and managing an inflexible budget & delivery date. In addition to delivering a fully functional platform built on the latest version of JD Edwards, the Bullpen team ensured the critical users were properly trained and confident in switching to the new system in time. The client was able to meet all legal compliance requirements before the original deadline, while delivering the project within the initial budget.

Client Achieves Successful Divestiture of Overseas Business Unit

An upstream E & P company divested a major overseas business unit as part of a strategic business transaction. Bullpen Group was asked to lead the technical strategy and oversight for transition of key infrastructure components including Active Directory, Exchange, data center compute infrastructure, data integrity and access control, and virtualization environment. The project requirements included a narrow 3-month timeframe in addition to zero operational impact to both the parent company and the business unit. Bullpen Group architected the entire phased approach and led a collaborative effort with key technical and business resources from both the divesting and acquiring companies, all of whom considered the project an astonishing success.
